Merry christmas and a happy new year!

Thank you all for your support and subscribing to my website, this is what keeps me going.

Let me start this new year with...

My favourite thing mailed through postboxes!

A lot of weird things have been delivered through postboxes (without packaging:

  • there were multiple occassions of potatoes with stamps on them

  • a live snake (not sure if it had a stamp :)

  • a fresh salmon which stinked up the post office (uncollected for weeks)

  • coconuts, again with a stamp

But my all time favourite is W Reginald Bray who managed to post himselfSo what he did was:

  • Address himself like a parcel (literally writing the destination on his own clothing/card)

  • Attach the required postage

  • Report to the post office counter

  • Be escorted by a postal messenger to the delivery address
